Has your child finished their summer reading homework? Don’t end up spending the last days before school begins completing reading packets and notebooks.
Summer Homework Club is geared to address Students grades 5 -11 who
- are having difficulty finishing summer assignments
- complain, whine, procrastinate, and battle with parents about starting assignments
- require a great deal of parental assistance or monitoring to complete assignments
In this quiet, supportive environment, your student will be provided with the structure and setting to complete summer assignments, monitored by a masters level reading specialist. Our reading specialist will be able to provide basic instruction and support when your child requires it, but will encourage students to arrive at their own solutions and will work towards fostering independence in work completion. Parents are not required to stay on-site during the Homework Club.
When: Mondays from 4-6pm, starting July 31st. Students can register for the first hour, second hour, or for 2 hours.The cost is $20.00/hr.
