Services > Therapy Services
We provide individual, marriage, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinicians tailor sessions to meet each patient’s needs, preferences, and comfort level.
Our therapies begin with an initial consultation where we get to know you, your child, or your family. During your initial consultation, we will identify concerns and set up a treatment plan which may include:
- Recommendations you can use to improve behavior at home or school
- Continuation into individual, marriage, or family therapy
- Group therapy suggestions
- Referral to our specialty services, including our Early Childhood Behavioral Clinic, our Executive Function Clinic, social skills groups, or Spectrum Clinic.
- Referral for a comprehensive psychological evaluation
Our clinicians will help you to tailor your initial consultation to best meet your needs. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for or would simply like an expert opinion on "what's normal," we strive to make sure that you leave this appointment with better understanding and a sense of direction. Some example results of initial consultations include:
- Better understanding of developmentally appropriate child behaviors
- Identification of concern areas
- Treatment recommendations
- Ideas to improve behavior at home or school
- Referral for evaluation or specialty services (see services)
The people who participate in your initial consultation may vary depending on your family's needs. While our clinicians prefer to meet your child during the initial consultation, we understand that some parents are sensitive to talking about concerns in front of their child or feel they will not be able to focus on our discussion if their child is present. If you are uncomfortable bringing your child to the initial appointment, we can arrange a second meeting with the child present.
You can expect your initial consultation to last roughly 90-120 minutes. Appointments may be scheduled online or contact our office for availability.
