Services > Therapy Services
We provide individual, marriage, and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Our clinicians tailor sessions to meet each patient’s needs, preferences, and comfort level.
Our therapies begin with an initial consultation where we get to know you, your child, or your family. During your initial consultation, we will identify concerns and set up a treatment plan which may include:
- Recommendations you can use to improve behavior at home or school
- Continuation into individual, marriage, or family therapy
- Group therapy suggestions
- Referral to our specialty services, including our Early Childhood Behavioral Clinic, our social skills groups, or Spectrum Clinic.
- Referral for a comprehensive psychological evaluation
- Better understanding of developmentally appropriate child behaviors
- Identification of concern areas
- Treatment recommendations
- Ideas to improve behavior at home or school
- Referral for evaluation or specialty services (see services)
Whether you choose to meet individually, as a family, or as a couple, it’s important to us that each person involved feels they have a chance to discuss their concerns and have their questions answered in a comfortable and confidential manner.
During individual therapy sessions, we may meet with your child or adolescent individually for a portion of the time and then meet with you for the remainder of the appointment. Other times, we may all meet together or consult with parents without their child or adolescent present.
When beginning individual therapy sessions for adults, we focus on developing a rapport that will help you feel comfortable working with our therapist. A core philosophy of our practice is empowering our patients to turn challenges into growth.
In family or marriage therapy sessions, our clinician will work with all participants at the same time while focusing on the goal of ensuring that each family member has had an opportunity to speak.
As you move through your treatment plan, your needs may change. When they do, our clinicians will be there you guide you toward treatments and resources to help you take the next steps.
Our office is pleased to offer opportunities for structured group therapies, through therapy services or through our specialty services programs. Our group therapy options are designed to help children and adolescents to boost skills in dealing with issues such as behavior, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and more.
For upcoming groups, please see our office calendar. If a group is currently not offered or if the group has already begun, please contact us so that we can coordinate interest.
